Hi,

I am applying under extraordinary ability alien EB-1(A)category as an Artist. I have a lot of National level claims and international performances, 5-6 strong recommendation letters.I have following questions:

1)Currently I am in NYC and want to apply at NSC can I do it ?
2)Do I need to show a local address in one of states under NSC jurisdiction ? if no, Can I give current address for correspondence ?
3)Do I need to show my future employer,if yes,do they have to be in NSC jurisdiction?
4)Does any one of U have experience applying under this category, if so please let me know and U can help me in evaluating my case.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you will have to show that your future employment place will be in NSC. EB1-EA category does not need job offer, but yes if you can get a letter from employer it will really make things better. If you give some more information about you then probably some of us will be able to provide our views about your possibilities.

Q. 1 & 2-- If you are using an address in NY, you should submit petition to VSC and not NSC.

Q. 3-- You do not need a letter from any employer, but it helps. You can potentially file as a self-employed artist. You can file where your future employer will be. But it is better to use same address in determining jurisdiction where to file.

Q. 4-- The information you provided is not sufficient to provide comments on your qualifications for EB1-EA.
