Extension of Stay for Mother

hi all -

I am trying to get a 6 month extension for my mom - just trying to find out if there are certain reasons that must not be given for the I-94 extension..

The reason I want her to stay back is that my wife is pregnant and my mom will need an extension of her current 6 month stay to stay for the delivery etc.

I was going to send the above reason but was told that it might not fly - and it might be ripe for denial (not sure why)..

any thoughts? any seasoned veterans out there ?

documents for aunt visa

Hi,

my wife is pregnant. we want to call my wife's mother from India for help during her pregnancy.

What are the documents needed for her visa. and what kind of visa it is going to be.

I am on h1 and AOS, my wife is on h4.

Port of Entry gave a longer stay than the dt on PP

HI ALL,
This posting is for a friend of mine.
Parents had visited US twice before, had a 1 yr stamping on PP from Mumbai when they came for the 2nd time. They went back and now are on their 3rd visit using the same 1yr stamping with only 2 months left according to PP.
However, Port of entry INS official gave i94 validity for 6months. Will it be considered overstay if they follow what's on the i94 compared to the stamping date on PP?
Please advise with any pertinent info.
