Extension of 2nd term of H1

Need advice.

My I140,485 filled in month of june03.First H1 expires in Sept03.

I understand ffrom this forum i can get my interim EAD before my H1 expires.

My lawer is suggesting me to go for renewal of H1 & not to take chance. What is the suggestion, i am trying to save the cost associated with renewal of H1.

Please suggest.

As soon as either of I-140 or I-485 gets denied, your EAD is invalid, and you have to stop working. If you have a valid H-1B, you can still continue to work as long as H-1B is valid. The extra cost will give you peace of mind.
