Hi, my name is Oran

i'm 20 years old and have an E1 visa. Last time I arrived at the US My passport was about to expire in a year and I received an I-94 until my passport would expire.

I'm right now in a process of renewing my passport so I will be able to extend my I-94, which will expire on August. Here is the issue, the Foreign Office of my country went on strike and and I don't know when i will receive my new passport.

What should I do regarding my i-94, which soon will be expired?
Can I extend my i-94 with my current passport which will expire on August as well?

First, Your passport has to renewed, once you file your Passport renewal, Concurrently File Form I-539, Application to extend/ Change non-immigrant status.
