Explanation of I-485 process

Can anyone plz. Explain the I-485 process?

I need some help since I'm new to this...

I am an EB2 and I have just filled my I-140/I-485 to TSC

In TSC do they send every I-140/485 application to a local office after they review it or there are some cases that were approved directly from TSC? does every one get an interview at a local office or it depends on ur current status and country of citizinship?
