expires June 23, but I-140 is still pending

My H-1B is going to expire this coming June 23. I have been waiting for my LC for 2 years, and my company lawyer just filed my I-140 on Feb 27 in CA. However, I haven\'t not received any confirmation yet. Can I file my 7th year extension this way ?

You sure can get 7th yr extension

As you satisfy the requirements for it....
You don\'t need to get your I140 approved....Just a pending I140 and a labor filed 365 days before are suffice.
