Expired Visa versus Unexpired Visa

Hi,
From an application rejection standpoint, does it make any difference to go to Tijuana for H1 stamping on an expired visa versus an unexpired visa? IN other words, if my application gets rejected, does having an unexpired visa stamp help at all? Will the unexpired old visa stamp allow me to come back to the US?

Most probably NO! Once they reject your application they will also cancel all visas on your passport, stamp it as Cancelled or something. Check with your lawyer.
