expired passport number in visa appointment - Pleasse help

I have made an appointment in Chennai consulate for my sister and brother in law who are in India for visit visa for April 20th 2005. I made the appointment in early Jan. At that time they had an expired passport and I made the appointment with the old passport number and a random expiry date.

Since then they have got a new passport with a new number. The old number is mentioned in the new passport. Also now looking at the printed receipt, I realise that I made some minor mistakes(typo in their address and a wrong DOB for brother in law) while making the appointment. I tried to modify the appointment, however it only allows to cancel the appointment or change the date.

My questions is do they allow them to go to the April 20th appointmet ? Will it be a problem with the errors in the entry ?
Anybody had similar experiance ? Any help will be appreciated

I had a similar issue when I realized that I entered the wrong passport number for my father. I sent an email to the TTS services and also called them up and they advised me to either cancel and enter the information once again or go to the consulate as per the appointment and point out the mistake to both at the counter where the draft is submitted and also to the the consular officer at the interview. My dad pointed out the mistake to them and they corrected it at their system. My parents got the visa without any problem.
