Expired I-94

My husband's H1 (I-94) is expired for quite sometime now, I am the primary applicant for GC, will it cause any problems when we go for I-551 stamping??

Was he working with expired visa? Does he have an EAD?

He wasn't working with expired I-94, he has valid EAD, but for sometime didn't work.

If his I-94 is expired after his I-485 receipt date, then there is no issue.
