My GC expired last november and before it expired I applied to remove conditional status form I751. My question is I am planning a trip to canada in August, but I am wondering if I will have problems either getting into canada, or trying to come back. I believe I don't need a reentry permit, but i am wondering if with the expired GC there will be a problem.
BTW I applied for the cpndition remove in Nov - 2005. I am wondering if I should get my new one before August 2006.

The NOA for I-751 itself is an extension for your GC for another year. In another tread on this board people were advised to carry it with them while travel.
Or you can make an INFOPASS and ask to stamp your passport with a temporary GC. They might not do it, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.
