Expired Canadian Passport and Valid H1B

Hello. I am a Canadian Citizen born in India and currently in the US on a Valid H1-B Visa. My passport expired a month ago and now I have an emergency to travel to Canada. Will I be allowed to re-enter the US on an expired Canadian passort and a Valid H1 visa or will I be refused entry.

Appreciate any help on this.
