My 485 was filed on Oct 2001. My EAD and AP are getting expired in the middle of Dec 2002. Am I supposed to renew EAD/AP now ? How long before expiry should I apply for renewal. Pls advice. Thank you

You should apply for EAD so that when the centre processes your
application you have more than 90 days from the expiry becuse
if they fail to issue it you can get an interim EAD.
Some local INS issue it quite fast. Check on this forum whether
you should apply at NSC or the local INS

Apply at NSC, and to be on the safe side its better to send it 4 months ahead......90 days is calculated from ND, and you don't wanna hurt if NSC delays the issue of receipt/lose your application etc........
