we got our Green Cards in June 07. Also we got I-797 (I-485) approval the same day. On the approval notice it says about possibility that biometrics may be required...blah blah... wait for 90 days for biometrics or card blah blah...etc.
Is there more biometrics? I did my biometrics in May 07.
So I cannot travel outdise USA until biometrics even though I have the physical green card.. Is that correct....Please help..
And after biometrics, passport stamping?.... Oh goodness...

I highly doubt they can produce your physical card if they don't have your biometrics, so there shouldn't be a problem there. Also, you have the card - that's all you need to travel. However, to be sure...

You can call up NCSC and check with them to make sure - choose the option where you say you want to talk to someone regarding an application that has been approved.

Or, you can try the POJ method and talk directly to a TSC IIO and see what the IIO says.

i already did my biometrics in may 07, 2 months back. i also just spoke to my lawyer who said that biometrics are only for those whose FP may have expired. Once you get GC, no more biometrics & you also do not need passport stamping. Thanks for your input. I see you are waiting for final approval, good luck and god bless.
