I have 6 months left on my 6 year h1 limit and my current employer started my GC process about an year ago using traditional process ( NO RIR), but my labor is not moving at all .
My employer is ready to extend my h1 after 6 years but I want GC at ther earliest

My brother says his employer can start my green card if I pay him money ( small company) and the state he is going to file is on fast track.

My question is , Is this risky? what are the problems? Do I have to switch to that company when it goes to I485?

No risks (except the money you are giving this employer). You have to join the company after GC is approved. But if it is 6 months past 485 date you can join any employer ...
