I am currently using my EAD to work for my company who has filed my GC as my h1 has expired

now can i switch to some another company who is ready to sponsor my h1 without affecting my current 485 process ?
OR
can i use my ead to join the other company without affecting my current 485 process ?

i am just looking for options as since i have used my ead what will happen if my gc is rejected and i would have to go back

please help

Work on EAD thats a better option. You can always file an H1 if
required. Since your H1 has anyway expired it doesnt really matter even if they file another h1 for you. If you are more comfortable doing it, go ahead. The point is neither should affect your GC as long as other criterias like similar job/salary etc are met.

And is there any reason why your GC should be rejected? Think positive.

I think positive but the way its going now i am thinking of all sorts of wierd things nowadays
