Dear Gurus,

Here is case details:
CSC - EB3 - PD 9/97 - ND 9/99 - FP 9/00 - RFE 01/01 -
RFE acknowledged 03/11/01

I have been waiting for long time and in mean time I have got an offer from a company which is really good. I am with the current employer for about six years and planning on change the employer. Please let know is it a good idea? Will there be anything go wrong in the GC process? Or forget this offer and sit tight till I get my green card?

If I were you, I would probably sit tight with the present company till the GC is completely approved..
You never know how INS works.. Also though people are saying about the 180 day rule with the EAD noone is actually sure about it.
So I would suggest just wait till you get it approved completely..

I am not a guru - but \'natasha\'s advice is good - you never know about INS.

You can try to keep this offer on hold - ask the company that is offering you this job if they can wait for you to join after 2-3 months and get them to hold the offer - get some breathing room so that you can evaluate the question again after 2-3 months.
