Let me put my case details. My company applied I 485/765/140(non-concurrent) in Aug ‘2005 for my wife and me to NSC and got receipt notice in the same month, since then I have no updates on my case except for address change in Jan ‘2006. We have NOT received first Finger printing notice yet. 
I contacted one of the CA senators to enquire about our cases. She contacted NSC and opened service request and got response from NSC. Following was the message from NSC.
“FBI Name check results are in and Case has been assigned to Analyst. If you do not hear from Service center with in 30 days then contact NSC”.
Case Details:
EB2 Labor Substitution
140 Approved Jun 2005
485 Receipt Date: Aug 2005
1st EAD/and AP Approved Nov 2005
Labor Priority Date: Apr 2000
Finger Print Notice: ????
How come FBI Name check results are in with out Finger Printing? Is it possible? Experts please advice. I’m also contemplating to use AC 21 because of better offer.
