Experts Please help IEAD

I was told today that I cannot continue employment if I do have have a current EAD at my work. This was very rude. But aprat from that.......


Current EAD expires on 07/10/2005.
RD on Renewal EAD 04/08/2005.
Infopass apointement date 07/08/2005.


I was issued a RFE for a frontal photographs since I had sent side photos with my EAD application. I just spoke to National Customer Service and found that that if RFE is issued then my case will be considered on hold for those days couting from when the RFE was issued and when they received the documents. In my case I think the days between them would come around 5 days.

So technically as what I understand, they will count only 85 days as of 07-08-2005 and not 90 days. So it seems they will not issue me Interim EAD on 07-08-2005 on which I have the infopass appointment.

Please help me what should I do now. If I do not get IEAD before 07-10-2005, I have been told that I cannot continue employment. I am not sure if that means that I loose the job and cannot come back? OR if anything else. I just sounds something very severe.

Please help me, reply soon when you guys read this post. I am really freaking out here.

can you get an unpaid leave ? I would shoot for that in case if you are not able to get EAD ontime.

That's what I suggested, But was told that "We cannot continue employment"
which sounds a very strong statement to me.
