I am an Indian citizen and was on a H1B visa from Jan 2001 till Nov 2005 and worked for a Fortune 200 Financial Services firm. In Dec'05 I moved to the UK on a permanent resident visa (the UK equivalent of a green card). Now I am planning to go back to business school in Fall 2006.
1> Can I get my F-1 visa stamped in UK or do I have to go back to India to get it stamped?
2> Will the fact that I voluntarily terminated my H1 to leave the US be viewed favorably for issuing a F-1 visa.
Would really appreciate some guidance.
