Could you please help me on these following situation / Questions.
I have applied for a GC,currently 485 is pending. I have a need to go to india for 6 months - 1 year (break).
1. I should not be resigning from my employment with US company xx, Right ?
2. Company XX is a big company, i'm yet to find out to see if they keep alive my GC petion, if not, can I transfer my H1B petion to other employer and apply AC21. I don't want to get into EAD status as I'm single.
3. Can i work in India with different employer (company yy) for 1 year , would it cause any problem with my GC petion or would there be any issue when you are in AOS?
4. With company yy if, i come back to US on L1/B1,would it cause any problem with my GC petionwith company xx
5. When i'm in India, what to do if i receive FP notices and all , can i postponed for some time or can i go for FP to indian counsulate.
6. What would be best approach to deal this issue and precausinery messures. I'm not able to plan it properly as i'm totally confused.
