Company merge during/after I-485 got approved
My I-485 was approved on Feb6 and passport was stamped on Feb18,2002.
but my company (A) signed a merge aggreement with company (B)in Jan.2002, 3 steps will be carried out, as a letter dated Feb 12, 2002:
Step-I : for a period 6 months, our company will be known as
" A, a B company"
Step-II: for another period of 6 months, our company transition to B
company logo, which have the tagline "formerly A"
Step-III: after II, "A" no longer exsit.
so my question is:
(1) shall I inform INS about the merge ?
(2) Can I look for a new job now ?
(3) if I can not look for a job, when can I?
