Experts - Insights please - Location change right after POE

I have just completed my POE - Dec. 2nd. My employer has wanted me to chnage my location of work from LA to SF for more than four months now, but I had asked him to hold off till my CP was done. I am wondering if it is now ok to ask my employer to ahead and change my location or should I ask him to hold off for a while?? What are the consequences, if any?

I had a transfer opportunity (new product development) to CA a week after my AOS approval, and Fragomen (a reputed law firm) advised me to wait for few months (needless to say that I lost an opportunity). Hope this helps.

I think I will do the same. Hold off for a couple of months, and will consult my lawyer as well. Any other people in similar situations??
