Experiences - FP before the scheduled date.

Hi everybody,

  I have my FP scheduled for the 11/27 and I am likely to be out of town during that week. Can I go for FP ahead of the scheduled date? I wish to here from people who really got it done and if possible in San Francisco area. What kind of problems, if any, can come up if I approach the relevant INS office with such a request?

Just go ahead and explain the situation . I did mine 2 weeks before appointment date

I gave it in Local Application Support Center of INS. I will check with INS VSC in a month\'s time.
