Experience with sister company

Hi guys,

I am on H1B currently. Before coming to US I worked for 2 years with a sister concern of my current company and the names of both companies are same.

Does it mean that the experience I gained with this company in India does not count for LC?

I have heard that it does not count towards my experience for LC.

Since your experience was gained at a DIFFERENT company (in a different country too) you can use that experience toward LC requirements. FOr example if you worked in Oracle India and then joined Oracle in US, your indian experience CAN be used towards LC.
