Could you please give me some input on my situation?

Here is my situation:

I'm a consultant of my consulting company and I'm working at the client location( my consulting company placed me to work at that client).....so my question is:

....if I leave my consulting company and move to another company...and my previous consulting company doesn't want to provide me work experience letter....is it possible for the client to give me work experience letter from a co-worker or letter with the company letter head( company's client will not sponsor me the Green card....it will be a different company).

Has anybody had problems/RFE's due to this?

Please shed some light on my situation and thank you in advance.

If someone is working as a consultant at a client location, it is necessary to obtain the experience letter from the client.

In my personal experiences when asked, client refused to give experiece letters stating legal issues.
