Experience Letter - Research Assistant.

Guys,
I am applying in EB2 (BS + 5). I have 4 years of experience before joining my current Job. I am planning to use 2 years of part-time experience as RA, so I could be get a total of 4 + 1 = 5 years of experience.

1) Can somebody post a sample experience letter for Research Assistant?

2) Do I need to include Pay I got for my work?

3) I have heard DOL does consider 2 year part-time as 1 year fulltime. Does any one see a problem here or had a problem using such experience?

Thanks in advance,
CoolHusker.

re: R.A. Experience Letter

Your letter should follow the standard experience letter guidelines. Be sure to have the person composing it indicate that you worked 20 hours per week and that you worked a start/end date that is over 2 years. Do not have them just list months for this one. You will want to ensure that you have at LEAST 2 years documentable.
Good luck.

Salary in exp letter?

Is it necessary to report the annual salary in addition to number of hours worked per week?

On our letters we did not indicate salaries. One of them is for RA position, though it is just for skills, we will not use it for years. It says the position of your advisor, how long did you work, hours per week and what you did. Follow the template for the other letters.

Thanks

No, the salary is not required.

You're very sweet. Thanks. It's kind of weird that I enjoy doing this as a hobby, since I work on all of it during the day too! Seems like I should be blogging on a music forum or something. Oh well :) Thanks for the compliments!! I'm glad to help.
