Hi,

My previous company was sold by the owner to some one else. They now use the name for some other business. I do have a letter from the company that I got as I was leaving the company that states my job duties, skills and period of work at the company. Will this letter be enough to prove experience or do I need a letter that is current. Should I try and get an affidavit from a co-worker. If I do get a letter from my co-worker do I need to get it notarized ?

Any help is appreciated.

Letter doesn't need to be current. Old one should be good enough because all they need is an experience letter for that period.
When I asked my lawyer about the letter contents, he mentioned salary too. But when I looked at other responses in other threads, many did not mention about salary in the letter. You better check with your lawyer.
