Hi
My Perm is approved and I have been able to get a detailed experience letter from my previous company. The letter is on official letterhead, signed by HR Manager and lists my dates, role and job details (the letter was earlier internally approved by the department manager).
The attorney says that the person signing should write that he has completed knowledge of my dates and activities and he should also mention how long he have been employed with this company (should start before me and continuing).
It is a 10000 + Employee company and HR manager is not likely to know every person. What they sign is based on official record. Essentially, it is not the person who is signing, it is the position who is signing.
Is the attorney right ? I do not think any HR manager or other signing authority will ever write that he personally knows the employee or what dates he was employed with the company.
Also, my understanding is, with this letter, I will not require any peer letter etc. Am I right ?
Please help.
