Experience in Chicago's office

I just wanted to share my experience with you.
Since my RD is in late Jan 2002, I hadn't heard from NSC for about 20 months, and it's been close to 30 days since I made an inquiry, I decided to go to the Chicago office, and check if they have any info on my case.
I got there at 10 o'clock, got a ticket and waited until close to 2:30 before I got called, and be told that they have no info on my case since it's in Nebraska. I knew that, but wanted to see if indeed that was the case, since I hadn't heard so long from them.
2 interesting points to me: First, there was a sign that said processing times at Chicago office, I-485 - Aug 2001, yes 2001. Weird, isn't it?
Second, they told me that they had in file the address I used in my 3rd EAD, that this is the address that NSC has, and that this is where I'll be receiving anything from them. I didn't agree with them, but didn't say anything.
Frustrating, how else can you describe all this?

I-140 AD 12/23/2001
I-485 RD 01/24/2002
FP1 03/23/2002
FP2 11/01/2003
3 EAD (don't have the dates) approved
No RFE
Tracker messages last updated 01/21/2003 regarding the FP1
