Experience H-1B stamp?

My company is working on my H-1B extension now. I won't get it on time before my travel. My current H-1B expires on 2-15-04. I plan to travel in Dec, and return on 1-31-04. Am I going to have problem getting stamp in my home country (Malaysia) embassy for two-month stamp. Also, if I do get the stamp, am I going to have problem reentering 2 weeks before the expiration date? Thanks.
 
I'm a Malaysian citizen, I have my current h1B stamped with my previous emplolyer. I'm working for a different company now, has anyone managed to get H1B stamped in Malaysia? I got a friend that is still stuck in Malaysia ( almost 4 months ). Please advise.


I emailed US embassy in Malaysia as well, this the reply i got :

Please see our website "USEMBASSYMALAYSIA.org.my" for information on how to apply for the visa. The time frame for obtaining the visa is from about 7 working days to many months. Unfortunately we can not be more precise than that.

Pretty dissapointing ...but that's life!
