I just called Cusomer Service Rep at VSC to enquire about my case. This is what happened:
Step 1 : I had to wait for 57 minutes for this guy to come to the phone.
Step 2 : He asked me about 30 questions, like, name, DOB, address, e-mail address, what application I am enquiring about and why?, did i changed my address in last 6 months, country of citizenship, country of birth, when i came to US, where do i work, what do i do, when i filled my I-485, which lawyer filled my application, mother's maiden name, etc. etc.
Step 3 : After asking me all these questions, he told me that he had put a request regarding my query and we will mail you a answer to your query in next 30 days and incase, you do not get any response from their side, Call bacl after 60 days. When i asked him "atleast tell me whether my name check is completed or not", he told me he is not supposed to give that information out. (
I wonder, what's he there for?)
Conclusion : I could not find anything about my case. These guys are a bunch of losers.
