My case was approved on 2/28 WAC-01-269-XXXXXX
But my wifes message say on jan 18 processing resumed.....
If i got approved and she get RFE what will be the status as
her H4 is over.
Also we have to go to india in may.
Any idea how much time it might take after we reply to RFE.

Experts please help...
 
I think you shouldn\'t worry

Usually if you applied together they will process your family case together, and approve it together. Anyway, I was approved on Feb 21, already got the passport stamped, and still our AVM says the Jan 17 process resumed. You are probably both approved, wait for the letters in the mail, and let us know.

If there is an RFE, which I doubt, it could delay your wife\'s approval around a couple of months counting the time to get it and reply to it.Does she have advanced parole?

Furthermore, you seem to contradict yourself with a previous message, where you seem to know for sure your wife is getting an RFE, and in this one you are not sure.

i called IIO y\'day and they told she got an RFE.
And i think she might get RFE for medical.
But the AVM is still saying the old message.
Yes she got advance parole.
Is it possible that i travel to india on Green card
and she can carry her Advance parole...
 
I think that will work fine, but . . .

. . . wait for other opinions. According to what I have been reading for the past quite a few months, that\'s what advance parole can be used for, so you remain in status even when your non immmigrant visa expires. She can go back into the US with the Advanced Parole. Anyway, act quickly on the RFE (I agree with you that it will probably be medical) when you receive it, and perhaps she\'ll get the green card right on time for her trip.
