How does one indicate that expedited service is needed for a US passport application. I didn't see it anywhere on the form.

How does one indicate that expedited service is needed for a US passport application. I didn't see it anywhere on the form.

Either you pay an extra $60 expedited service fee or apply in person at one of the passport agencies without paying an extra fee. For the latter, you need to show evidence that you will travel in 14 days by showing an air ticket or a letter from your company stating your need to travel on business. An appointment is needed.

Yes, but how can I be assured that the personprocessing the application knows it is to be expedited? I don't have much time so I want to be sure it is done expeditiously.
