Expediting I-140/I-485 approval

Is there any way to expedite the processing of pending I-140/I-485, which are close to the current processing dates?

Does applying an Address change or EAD renewal or AP renewal will really trigger the pending frozen cases. Have any one tried this and has been successful.

I recently saw few threads where in they have sent Fax to the service center, for expediting their cases. Does this really work, how many of you can bet on this.

FP was on Dec 16 2003 ,

I just sent fax few minutes back telling them to speed with my case..
 
Can you confirm, the TSC fax number, where you faxed your request. I read in some thread it to be 214-489-8021, is this the right one.
 
i heard sending inquiry fax may trigger RFE. renew AP/EAD may trigger processing. changing address will also trigger RFE. just for reference. I am not sure how accurate these are.

My RD is 8/13/03 and I have not got first FP notice.VSC is currently working on 6/03 I-485 cases and looks like 8/03 people will start getting FP notice within next month or so.Your case must be a exception.There are very very few people from July/august/sept who got FP notice.I do not believe vsc will start adjucating 10/03 cases before that .Ofcouse barring exception like your case which is 10/03.I am really surprised and happy for you.
