Expedite I485?

Dear all,

Does anybody has experience in expediting the I485? My NIW I140 was approved only two months after I sent out because it was fully supported by DoD (Dept. of defense) through some refereence letters. I am wondering whether I can expedite my I485 by getting some DoD letters also?

By the way, I Just got my finger print notice, and will do in on 03/10.

Did you or your lawyer or company lawyer do anything special like VSC FAX number request?
Could you post some more details?

VSC Expedite Criteria: The USCIS Service Centers have established a
uniform set of criteria for expeditious handling of cases that is applied to all
such requests. The merits of the requests are the sole determining factors in
arriving at a decision. This is necessary as "expedites" are not only expensive
to process, but they also delay the adjudication of all other cases being
processed in chronological order of receipt. The VSC will consider a case for
expeditious treatment using the following criteria:

Severe financial loss to company or individual
Humanitarian situation
Nonprofit status of requesting organization in furtherance of the cultural
and social interests on the U.S.
Request from Government agency due to National interest
Service error
Compelling interest of the Service

VSC Expedite Procedures: Upon receiving and reviewing the expedite
request, a supervisor/manager will make a determination as to whether the
case will be processed expeditiously. It is our goal to notify the requester of
the VSC’s decision within 24 hours. However, at times, we will be unable to
meet this goal due to a significant number of requests. When this is the case,
we will notify the requester as soon as a decision is made.

Actually, I have not done anything yet to expedite my I485.
The most difficult, but important thing is to get a letter from Dod agency. But everybody is very cautious after 911. So, it could be hard to get this letter. However I will try my best.

Even they do not agree to expedite my process, that is ok, my I485 is still in the waiting line, so, why not take a try.... it do not hurt at all.

I do not know; the referenced website says a maximum of five pages....I guess the form is not as important as having the documentation from DoD or any other government agency.
Can also dial the fax number and see if it works..fax tone?
