Exit stamp required to re-enter US ?

Hi,

I have a 10 year B1/B2 visas and I have already visited the US twice. Today I heard that I need an exit stamp in my passport each time I leave the US, so that I will be autorize to re-enter again.

Is that true ?

The fact is that I have an entry stamp (one in Atlanta last year, one in Dallas this year) for each travel. But I never add any exit stamp ! I just returned my admission card (I-94 I think) before leaving the USA.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

u do not need an exit stamp. There must be entry stamp done at ur home country when u left USA and arrived home. But now there is a new US-exit policy along with US-Visit so there might be something. but dont worry about the past.

visit-USA exit-procedure

Hi Rocky,

according to the USA , the visit-USA exit procedures are already in place. This is effective most active USA airports.

What do you say ? Any other opinions and experiences ?

US Visit is for entry. There is a polit program at one airport and one seaport for exit control. Exit control will be in effect in the future at all ports. I believe Chicago is the airport for the exit control, but I am not sure.
