exit on AP and enter on GC?

My wife left the country on Advance Parole a week back and its expiring on Dec 02. Two days back I got her green card in the mail. Can she enter the country on her green card after the advance parole expires?

I just spoke with my lawyer he says that shouldn't be a problem and will be able to enter back using her green card. Has anyone faced a similar situation.
 
Your attorney is correct. In fact one doesn't have to show AP to the USCIS when they leave the country, so AP is not an issue here.
