I should be excited that my I-485 got approved. I just saw the e-mail this morning.
But spouse's case is still pending. We filed together.I'm the primary benificiary.
But she did second FP on 5/15/04, I did it on 5/25/04.
I'm really concerned that she may get RFE(not bad) or get transferred to local office(really bad). We got married years before we filed for I-485.
She has a really common short name which may create a problem in name check(what I learned from this forum). That's the main reason I'm concerned. We never received any response from FBI for name check(called in April, Faxed in May).

I may think it would be a matter of couple of days or couple of weeks before your wife gets approval.
I think it is happening frequently now a days??

Keep us posted when your wife gets approval.

Also is your wife is currently in USA or travelling abroad.
Just asking as there are some chances when your wife is travelling abroad she may not get approval along with you until she comes back to USA.
But this is very rare possibility.

Thanks to everyone from this forum! I got hope and courage here for the past three years to help me get through. I believe a lot of people here understand what it feels like when you were treated unfairly but you can't do anything but holding your tongue. The only reason we tolerate it is because we needed their sponsorship for the MIGHTY green card.
My wife is here in US. She traveled abroad early this year using AP,no trouble coming back.
I'll update when wife's case gets approved,hopefully not too long from now.
I'll continue to come back visiting this site. It's just a habit.
By the way, my boss made me work this weekend. I don't even mind. I can fire him if I like. That makes me feel so good!
