Evidence of selective service registration..

Hi,

Today I received the IL and it states that I should bring "any evidence of selective service registration". I dont think I needed to register with the SS (I was continuously on H1 from the time I entered US through the age 28 when I got my GC).

My question is do I just tell them at the time of the interview that i was not required to register or should I still contact SS office and get a letter from them that I did not need to register with them?

Thanks for your help.

No need to contact the SSA. If the IO asks, tell them that you were in Non-Immigrant status through your 26th birthday.
