People I just want to let you know that Lottery visa interview is FORMALLL!!!
So everyone dont worry, you will be happy after leaving US Ambassy.
Ofcourse consider also other topics and take all precautions that are recomendet from other users, but realy dont be afraid from the interview (as we were), If you present all documents needet relax your self you are American allready.
:D:D:D

Oh, by FORMAL you mean formality? As in...if you have all your documents in order the interview is just the final process.

I thought you were saying what others have said about the Sydney interview, wear a suit or formal clothing. I am trying to get into shape for my interview so I can fit into my skirt suit :o Haven't worn a suit in a while as my job is fairly casual.

I understand from the word formal here that it doesn't deserve such an importance and moral preparation :)

Neena - at the Sydney consulate they basically won't see what you are wearing from the top down - as you stand at a window.

I wore dark demin dressy jeans (they would've looked like dark pants) and a pretty top - just make sure you take shoes that are easy to slip on and off as I was so over that by the end of it as it was a really humid morning and I was so flustered! LOL

I'm not talking about how you will be dressed at the interview!
(I was wearing blue jeans if you are interested..)
I'm just trying to relaks you! If you have all documents ready including afidavit of support and if your medications reports are ok you will get your visa!!!
Interview is just formality (YES nothing important just reviewing your documents or paperwork, however you like to say)!!!
:D:D:D:D:D

what if ur dokuments are not complete at the time of interview, will they issue one visa when u get the doks?

Thanks tforce, I need all the positive comments like yours I can get. I am very nervous but excited.

If your docs are not ready you should reschedule the interview, but make them ready as fast as you can!!!
