Hi,
Could any body tell me the documents needed to be sent to India
to bring parents over here(visitor visa)? Thank you.

I posted it here because this is the page that is accessed most. Sorry if it was not appropriate.
Also I hear that now a days even people who have come here already, get rejected. Is it true?

Usually, the following are required. If somebody says more or less I am not sure. I had sent them to get someone from my country.
1. Affidivit of Support. This you can download from the INS. Dont have to go to attorney.
2. Recent Bank Statement. Usually you are supposed to show atleast $5000 balance. There is no rule and I might not be right.
3. Your passport copies. Hope you have the names of the people that you want to invite.
4. An official invitation letter from you.
5. I sent the previous year w-2 and tax returns just in case.
6. a recent payslip.
7. Incase the people are related to your spouse, then both passport copies and the Affidivit of support should be signed by the H1 holder if you are on H1, if you are on GC then anybody with a GC and who is earning and should be notarazied.

Dont start saying I dont want to relieve financial position. It is upto you.
