european getting married to GC Holder

Hi guys,

I hope someone can help me I am a European (British citizen) I am here on visa waiver program it seems I met my dream girl and we are planing to get married she is a GC holder, as I understand there is a long wait to get my green card but I really don't care about that all I care about if I can work while waiting for my GC. Is it possible to get a work permit while waiting.

No, it is not possible. The best way is to either get married, go back to Europe, and go through Consular Processing visa and come back. But you are looking at 4-6 years apart.

Only US Citizens can apply for their husbands to adjust status immediately.

Either go back and apply for a H-1B visa or... move to Europe. You can not get a work authorization if she is just a resident, how far until she becomes a US Citizen?
