ESTA revoked, will it affect my B2 application?

Hello - I had my ESTA revoked last year after I tried entering into the US without a return flight. I'm applying for the B2 visa but I'm curious if this prior situation will interfere in my application? Do I need to fiile for a waiver of inadmissibility before applying for the B2 visa?

There is no ban to waive. Nobody can predict the outcome of a nonimmigrant visa application, but there is no reason why you can't get a B2 visa.
