Error with Plastic card in CIS???

undefined :confused: It may not only for CA center, the webpage:
https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp
says:

"If you were granted permanent resident status or entered the U.S. with an immigrant visa more than 60 days ago and have not received your first permanent resident card, please call 1-800-375-5283"

I did fall into this group, 485 approved in 4/22 and waiting for the card.

Anyone knows what happened in CIS??
 
call the 800 number and explain the situation to them. keep trying until they put you through to a immigration officer.

my online status finally changed to card ordered after I called (> 3 months) about a week ago and I am still waiting to see the actual card.

I called the 800 number, first time they told me they will fill a form for me, and asked my info. Second time I called, they told me they will send a email to SFO office, and I should receive a welcome letter. How can I get an immigration officer, is the persion I talked to an immigration officer???
 
no, it all depends on how you talk, you have to convince him or her that the online website specifies that you call the USCIS if 60 days is gone and that your case is also past 60 days and people around you who got approval have gotten the card while there is no sign of it for you and ask for their help. It is how you engage them which makes the customer rep. to put you through immigration officer. even for me first time they took all my information and said that they will file an enquiry. The next week again I called and talked to the rep. and explained my case and he first said he will file an enquiry and subsequently don't know what made him change his mind and he said he will connect me to an officer.

Hope this helps, I just narrated my experience, it is possible others might have had better or bitter experience.
