Error on Ead application

Please Help!

I just filed for I - 765 online.
Instead of applying for a renewal of my EAD which expires in November, I by mistake applied for a new EAD “ Permission to accept employment”. :eek:
I called the service center, but she told me that there was nothing she could do and told me to call the 1-800 number again and promt my way to a service where you can change errors in applications.
I found nothing like that when I called back.
Did anyone her about this before?

Did anyone else make a mistake like this?
What will happen now – I am going to get my fingerprinting done tomorrow?
Any advise would be appriciated.

I wouldn't worry much

When you send them the neccesary documents to USCIS on this request , you should keep a note and will take care of it ...

I made a stupid mistake too on my e-EAD application .. I switched my last name with my first name. I just called the 800 number and notified them of the error. I received a letter 2 weeks later confirming the change. My application was later approved.
