My wife received her plastic card recently after getting her passport stamped at Columbus OH local INS offfice. Her case was transferred to the local office and was approved after interview at the local INS office.

In the plastic card her date of birth is incorrect. What is the procedure to get the plastic card corrected. Can this be done at the local office or this need to be done from NSC.

Thanks

$shrikanth,

My date of birth printed wrong and I submitted I-90 (replacement of card). I submitted through on-line and got finger printed, picture taken at local CIS office. The application fee waved cause it was their mistake. I kept original card with me.

What you have to do:

Apply I-90 on-line or in-person to the local office, fee will be waved. If you submit on-line, take a print out of the on-line application, then call National Customer Service Center (800 #), get the appointment for finger print, and picture. It will take more than a year to get the replacement card.
