I am really looking forward to seeing the Two Towers on Wednesday.
It got me thinking about epics and epic journeys.

Ulysses/Oddesyeus - Greek/Roman
Beowulf - Saxon
Lord of the Rings - England
Muhabharrat - India
Journey To The West - China (anyone remember Pigsy, Sandy and Monkey?)
I485 - INS

Just reminiscing on a Friday

You mean
*Iliad and Odyssey -- Greeko Roman
*Mahabharath and Ramayana -- India

It is an epic by Ramanada Sagar ( thats why the name ) - mostly occuring in Dooradarshan over a span of long long episodes.
