My six year H1B will expire on Dec 17, 2006. I just got a job offer from another employer, who can help my LC application through PERM immediately after I joining that organization. In order to extend my H1B beyond the 6th year, I need to submit my LC application before Dec 17 this year. Now it is already October. Do I still have enough time to apply for LC through PERM (The new employer had already gone through the recruiting process and will use the new employment to apply for LC)?
Another question is that could I apply for I140 right after my LC got approved? What do I get after my I140 approved?
