Entry into the US while awaiting K-3/I-130

This is more of an I-130 question I suppose than a K-3 visa question as I have just begun the process of the K-3 visa petition.. the I-130.. My question is, my wife is scheduled to to come visit the states in a couple weeks, however, I have just filed the I-130 (it arrived monday in chicago).. so will she be able to enter the country (via dfw) or will the POE officer deny her entry? As I understand with a K-3 visa petition pending it is possible to enter the US so long as you provide evidence that you plan to return to your home country and my wife has this (a letter from her employer)... but I'm not sure if the same rules apply since I have not yet filed for the K-3 visa.. thank you very much in advance for any help!!

Yes! She can visit...as youre already aware, make sure she has proof of ties to her home country to prove that she is going to leave when she says she will (though do not volunteer this information unless specifically asked).

As, as with any non USC attempted entry, there is no guarantee that your wife will be allowed entry, so prepare for the possibility that she may be denied. Many people successfully enter the US during a the process of an immigrant visa, though as previously stated, entry is not guaranteed unless you are a USC.
