Entry in US

I have a question like if a person (H-4 Visa) caught once for petty theft and for him there is only one option like plea to guilty for petty theft ,and court has given him 2yr probation and 1 day jail time(not exactly jail like community service).Can he travel to his native place like India during his probation period oR Is their any problem when he will come to US then his entry will denied at the port .please reply me
 
A theft conviction is a CIMT, I do believe that under 212(a)(2)(A)(i)(I) you could be ruled inadmisible upon your attempted re-entry into the United States. So, do you feel lucky? :D

Generally, you cannot leave the state while on probation without obtaining prior approval from probation officer. Leaving the country -> even worse and could create problems. I wouldn't risk it at this time for sure

Thanks for reply,but i am on informal probation(just obey all laws) not on supervision probation i talked to my Lawyer but she said you don't need a letter beccoz you are under informal probation. I m worried. Still is there probability to denying my re-entry in USA????

Well since you spoke to your lawyer, who understands the details of your case better than I do, then you have your answer
